Streaky-Fit FAQ

Everything you need to know about streaks, effort points, and progress.

Streaks & Timing

When do streaks run?

All streaks run Monday to Monday (UTC 00:00).

Each week is evaluated as a complete cycle. Based on that week's progress, a streak will continue, freeze, or reset.

Weekly Streaks (How Progress Is Measured)

Are streaks daily or weekly?

All streaks in Streaky-Fit are weekly-based.

You set a weekly target (for example: 3, 4, or 7 sessions per week).

As long as the weekly target is met, your streak continues - regardless of which days you train.

There is no daily requirement, unless you set a weekly target of 7, which naturally means training every day.

Personal vs Team Streaks

How do personal streaks work?

Personal streaks track your own consistency only.

  • You set a personal weekly target
  • Sessions count toward your target only if they are at least 20 minutes
  • Meeting the target continues your personal streak
  • Personal streaks are not affected by team activity
How do team streaks work?

Team streaks are based on the combined effort of the entire team.

  • The team has one shared weekly target
  • All team members’ qualifying sessions (20+ minutes) are combined
  • It does not matter who completes the sessions
  • Team streaks are independent from personal streaks

The team succeeds together through shared effort.

Freeze, Recovery & Reset Rules

When does a streak freeze?

A personal or team streak freezes on Monday if:

  • At least 50% of the weekly target was completed
  • But the full weekly target was not met

A freeze protects the streak and allows recovery.

How do I save a frozen streak?

Frozen streaks (personal and team) follow the same recovery rule:

  1. 1 qualifying session (20+ minutes) must be completed on Monday
  2. Before Tuesday 00:00 UTC

Personal streak: You must complete the session yourself.

Team streak: One of the team member can complete the session for the team.

If this condition is met, the streak continues.

When does a streak reset?

A streak resets if:

  • Less than 50% of the weekly target was completed, or
  • A frozen streak is not saved by Tuesday 00:00 UTC

A reset always starts from week one.

Effort Points (Effort Hours)

What are Effort Points?

Effort Points represent the time and effort you put into training.

  • Effort Points are based on effort hours
  • Short sessions and long sessions both earn Effort Points
  • They reward real work, not just check-ins

Effort Points exist alongside streaks, not instead of them.

Do Effort Points affect streaks?

No.

  • Streaks measure consistency
  • Effort Points measure total effort
  • You can keep a streak with short sessions, or earn high Effort Points with fewer but longer workouts. Both styles are valid.

A 10-minute stretch won’t count toward a streak, but it still counts toward Effort Points and your history.

Leaderboards

How do personal leaderboards work?

Personal leaderboards rank users based on:

  • Weekly streak consistency
  • Total Effort Points

Overall long-term commitment. They are designed to motivate consistency, not perfection.

How do team leaderboards work?

Team leaderboards reflect shared progress and rank teams by:

  • Team streak length
  • Combined Effort Points
  • Ongoing weekly consistency

Every contribution counts toward the team's position.

Goals & Sessions

How do I log a session?

Open the app, tap Start Session, and complete your workout.

Each session:

  • Always earns Effort Points
  • Appears in your history
  • Counts toward streaks only if it’s at least 20 minutes

General

Is Streaky-Fit about competition?

Leaderboards and Effort Points exist to inspire, not pressure.
